Following giving thanks, especially that hurricane season is over, many turn their eyes to Christmas, end of year activities, and anticipating a new year. Part of this focus is of giving from the bounty God provides.

Giving is often a part of this time.

We are a Matthew 25 church. The Matthew 25 Initiative, rooted in the parable of the sheep and the goats (Matthew 25:31-46), calls us to action in building congregational vitality, dismantling structural racism, and eradicating systemic poverty.

Wintergarden Presbyterian Church would like to encourage you to consider us in your Giving Tuesday and other year-end giving. Funds will contribute to the many faces of our mission, including our: food pantry, worship and discipleship, disaster recovery, and our continuing advocacy and development of a space where all are welcome, as Jesus truly welcomes everyone into the fold.

Join the global giving movement and help the Wintergarden Presbyterian Church (a PCUSA church) live out our call to be a Matthew 25 Church by addressing systemic poverty, structural racism, and congregational vitality. Please share with your friends to encourage them to give to help support this amazing call God has placed on our hearts.
