Help us feed our community on this #GIVINGTUESDAY
So far we have received $650 in our #GIVINGTUESDAY challenge. Help us reach our goal of $2,500 to help provide meals to families this Christmas.
Today is giving Tuesday. Friends, our neighbors are struggling. People are hurting. People are hungry and many don’t know where their next meal will come from. Since Hurricane Ian, our food pantry has gone from feeding 1,200 individuals a week to over 2,000. There is a huge increase in need to help others and people struggling day in and out. We are all feeling this in different ways.

So, how are we called to respond?

In Matthew 25:35 these words are shared, “I was hungry and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me.”

Prayerfully consider how you can help your neighbor, our neighbors, this Christmas season. The Wintergarden Food Pantry is currently serving 500 families a week and each week more families are asking for help. As the need continues to grow, our food supplies dwindle. If this mission speaks to your heart, there is a QR code above to scan or a link below for direct giving. Remember to select “food pantry” under “Fund” if that is where you’d like the donation to be directed. As always, we appreciate any help you can give. You are invited to give to our food pantry or any of the Wintergarden Presbyterian church missions by clicking HERE.

Thank you,
Pastor Devon
