Over the course of the past 2 years, Wintergarden has been an active partner in rebuilding people’s homes and lives after the devastation of Hurricane Ian. Then this past summer, our area experienced two more hurricanes and a tropical storm. We have received grant funds to help families through all of these disasters. But we couldn’t do what we do without our amazing partners in ministry. We are deeply grateful for the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church, Mennonite Disaster Services, SBP, Sarasota Community Foundation, Missions on Wheels, and so many more. Thank you Wendy for sharing our story and helping people know how a small church can truly impact their community!

The Matthew 25 Initiative, rooted in the parable of the sheep and the goats (Matthew 25:31-46), calls us to action in building congregational vitality, dismantling structural racism, and eradicating systemic poverty.
As we approach the end of the year, Wintergarden Presbyterian Church would like to encourage you in your Giving Tuesday and other year-end giving. Funds will contribute to the many faces of our mission, including our: food pantry, worship and discipleship, disaster recovery, and our continuing advocacy and development of a space where all are welcome.
Join the global giving movement and help the Wintergarden Presbyterian Church (a PCUSA church) live out our call to be a Matthew 25 Church by addressing systemic poverty, structural racism, and congregational vitality. Help us, help our neighbors.
Join us on Sunday as we continue our study on the Gospel of Luke. Looking forward to diving into learning more about the life, ministry, and teachings of Jesus.
