Thank you for supporting our feeding ministry for #GIVINGTUESDAY

What a response! Thank you so much for the gifts to help feed families in our community!  In our #GIVINGTUESDAY we have received $1,700 MORE than we hoped to help us provide meals to families this Christmas.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in our #GivingTuesday challenge to help us get Christmas food boxes to the families in our community. Our goal was $2,500 and we raised $4,200! We exceeded our goal thanks to YOUR generosity. You truly are a gift and a blessing to everyone.

Each gift that we received will allow for us to purchase food to help families struggling this season so they can have a lovely meal when times are tough. Many of us have traditional foods that we like at Christmas. Ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, dinner rolls, and dessert. It is our hope to be able to put this kind of box together for families.

If you missed #GivingTuesday but still want to give a donation, we would greatly appreciate that. Each Christmas box will cost about $34 per family, but any amount will help.

So, it is my hope and prayer, that you can consider giving a minimum gift of $34 to help purchase food for families in our community.  Feeding our community is such a huge part of our mission and we would love your help to do so. If this mission speaks to your heart link below for direct giving. Remember to select “food pantry” under “Fund” if that is where you’d like the donation to be directed. As always, we appreciate any help you can give. You are invited to give to our food pantry or any of the Wintergarden Presbyterian church missions by clicking HERE.

Thank you,
Pastor Devon
