Dearest Wintergarden Faith Community,
As we continue to pray for one another, our community, our country, and our world, let us do so with love and hope. Our weekly email of prayers is a way for us to share the prayers shared in worship, through the food pantry, and our various other ministries with a larger group. Due to privacy needs we will only include the first names of people and not last names. We also know this list will not be perfect and in need of constant updating. We will review this every week and be mindful of how we are being asked to pray for one another, our community, our country, and our world.
Blessings,
Pastor Devon

We Have Weathered a New Storm
First Ian and now Nicole… We have all weathered a new storm. After the devastation in our area, we continue to lift up our experiences, pain, frustration and wondering… We pray that when things are hard and we are worried for loved ones or love lost, that we will continue to feel Your presence with us and through us out into a hurting world.
As we gather for Breakfast Church this week, the words that were spoken were:
- words of hope and gratitude,
- words of guidance and healing,
- words of help, patience and compassion,
- words of peace and love…
Lord, in these hard times, help us to bring Your hope and healing to our community. Let us bring Your light, peace, and love to a hurting world. In this, we pray you help us to sing a new song. That You are with us, and continue to deliver us in all ways. We pray this prayer to you today, in Your name.
Prayers of Joy

- Kymmie gave thanks for her grandfather who just celebrated his 100th birthday. Also that her dad made it in for the celebration. It was good family time.

- John gave thanks for a new great granddaughter. (Dusty and Lindsey’s new arrival.)
- Special thanks to Eric and Carol from Church of the Palms for all their generous support through our recovery.

- For Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) for the recovery work they are doing.
- Prayers of joy for an amazing work day. And most especially for Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) students, Church of the Palms members and other community volunteers joined with our Wintergarden family to clean up the Garden of Eatin’.
