Dearest Wintergarden Faith Community,
As we continue to pray for one another, our community, our country, and our world, let us do so with love and hope. Our weekly email of prayers is a way for us to share the prayers shared in worship, through the food pantry, and our various other ministries with a larger group. Due to privacy needs we will only include the first names of people and not last names. We also know this list will not be perfect and in need of constant updating. We will review this every week and be mindful of how we are being asked to pray for one another, our community, our country, and our world.

Prayers of Joy
- Baby River, Wendy and Tom’s great nephew is well enough to go home. Prayers for parents Joey and Kayla.
- We also welcome Clare Violet 6.9 oz into the world!
- Thanks for Cindy serving with us this season.
- Cheryl is excited to be readying herself for the job market!
- And we all give much thanksgiving for the lovely beach baptism last week.
Concerns
- Please for Verna, that her cancer treatment is successful.
- Pray also Bill who is having back pain – sciatica.
- Kymmie’s momma might have ALS, so pray for her wellbeing, for clarity for the next right steps and peace for all involved.
- Chris asked for prayers for his parents. His mom’s dementia is advanced and his dad is her main caretaker. Pray for the way forward and for peace for all.
- Pray also for the Dewyngaert family.
- Pray for the recovery of Pastor Ben, Devon’s former pastor who had fell ill during a memorial service.
- Pray for Sally.
- For Rick and Sherry.
- Larry asked for prayers for his siblings as they seek the best way forward for their father.
- Pray also for healing for Betsy’s knees.
- Cheryl request prayer for her case manager that passed away and for all those who were touched by this loss.
- For Darla who lost her dog on Saturday.
- Pray for Tommy as he moves forward on a new path with the Navy (we think).
- Pray for Jeannie’s niece, Denise who had a massive heart attack.
- Continue to pray for Barbara for the loss of her beloved husband, Fred.
- Continue to also pray for Bud and Donna.
- For all those missing loved ones lost to them.
- For all those struggling: the homeless, hungry and hurting; those fighting addiction and for their mental health; for our veterans; for those impacted by hate and exclusion; and for those serving and working for reconciliation for any of these. Pray also that we all remember, “there but for the grace of God go I.”
- For all the war and violence – for peace around the world!
- For peace in our own lives and for our world.
